Taneva — Turning Questions Into Confident Buyers
A spray tanning tent brand that needed its store to answer the questions buyers had before they'd feel ready to purchase.

Project Narrative
Turning Questions Into Confident Buyers
01 — The Brand
Taneva sells spray tanning tents — a product that customers don't typically buy on impulse.
Before making a decision, buyers need to understand:
- How the tent works
- How much space it requires
- How it is set up and disassembled
- What size they need
- Which model or option is right for their specific setup
The product itself was solid. The problem was that the store wasn't making the buying decision easy enough.
02 — The Challenge
Customers were interested. They just weren't confident enough to buy.
Important product information was scattered throughout the store, while some of the practical details customers needed before purchasing were difficult to find. Comparing different options required too much effort.
That created a familiar friction pattern:
Customer Interest → Unanswered Questions → Uncertainty → Exit
Visitors could be genuinely interested in the product and still leave because they hadn't found enough clarity to confidently check out.
For a considered purchase like this, every unanswered question becomes another reason to postpone. The store was creating hesitation where it should have been building confidence.

03 — The Diagnosis
The product pages weren't answering the questions buyers actually had.
Technostripe evaluated the store from the perspective of someone considering their first purchase. Three friction points stood out:
- Product Information Hierarchy
Important specifications and practical details weren't presented clearly within the buying journey. - Setup & Space Requirements
Customers needed to understand dimensions, footprint, and how the product would fit into their environment before committing. - Product Comparison
Different models weren't easy to compare side-by-side, forcing customers to do manual research across separate pages.
The problem wasn't a lack of information. It was how and when that information was being presented.
04 — The Strategy
Turn product pages into decision-making tools.
Technostripe rebuilt the product experience around one simple principle: answer the customer's questions before they have to ask them.
Instead of expecting visitors to search through descriptions or contact support, we brought the essential decision-making criteria directly into the shopping experience:
- Clarity → Make important specifications immediately understandable
- Context → Explain space and setup requirements before purchase
- Comparison → Make different options effortless to evaluate
- Confidence → Remove hesitation before checkout
The objective wasn't to add more text for the sake of it. It was to give customers the right information at the exact moment of decision.
05 — What We Changed
01. Clear Product Specifications
Key product specifications were elevated into prominent, easily scannable sections. Customers could understand the important details without digging through dense blocks of text.
Information placed directly where the buying decision happens.

02. Setup & Space Information
Practical information around setup time, folded dimensions, and working footprint was made transparent and visual.
Less guessing. More certainty.
03. Improved Product Comparison
The product pages were restructured to make comparing available models straightforward. Customers could evaluate differences in size, features, and utility without bouncing between pages.
Choosing became fast and effortless.
04. Stronger Product Page Structure
The overall product-page experience was reorganized around the questions buyers naturally ask:
Discover → Understand → Compare → Choose

06 — The Transformation
From "I need more information" to "I know which one I want."
The biggest change was the buyer's journey through the product page:
Before: Friction & Confusion
- Customer discovers product
- Questions about setup & disassembly
- Questions about space requirements
- Digs through text for specifications
- Tries to manually compare options
- Uncertainty peaks
- Abandons or bounces
After: Guided & Confident
- Customer discovers product
- Instantly scans verified specifications
- Sees clear space and setup requirements
- Understands exact sizing
- Easily compares models side-by-side
- Feels complete confidence
- Completes purchase
The store stopped behaving like a passive product catalog. It started behaving like an expert consultant that already knew what customers needed to know.
07 — Built for Considered Purchases
The more complex the decision, the more important clarity becomes.
Not every e-commerce purchase happens on a 30-second impulse. Products that require space, setup, or specialized usage need an experience that answers:
- Will it work for my space?
- Can I set it up easily on my own?
- Which size or option matches my setup?
- What do I need to know before buying?
Taneva's product experience was rebuilt specifically around these questions. The goal wasn't to push customers, but to give them the clarity and confidence to decide.

08 — The Outcome
Customers could find the answers without needing to ask.
With clearer specifications, accessible space requirements, and a straightforward comparison experience, customers could complete their research directly on the page:
- Dramatically fewer pre-purchase support queries
- Higher add-to-cart rates from engaged visitors
- Significantly reduced drop-off from customers who were previously hesitant

The store stopped creating questions and started providing answers.
09 — The Technostripe Difference
